Cosmetic Dentistry and Smile Makeover: Transforming Your Smile

A beautiful smile can enhance your confidence and transform your appearance. Our cosmetic dentistry and smile makeover services are designed to help you achieve the smile you've always wanted. Here’s a step-by-step guide to what you can expect during your smile makeover journey with us.

A smile makeover is an investment in your appearance and self-confidence. Our goal is to provide you with a beautiful, functional smile that you’ll be proud to show off.

1. Initial Consultation

Your smile makeover begins with a thorough consultation where we discuss your goals and needs. We’ll listen to your desires, assess your current dental health, and determine the best cosmetic options for achieving your ideal smile. This initial visit is crucial for understanding your vision and setting clear objectives for your smile transformation.

2. Impressions and Wax-Up

Once we have a clear understanding of your goals, we take impressions of your teeth. These impressions are sent to our dental lab, where they are used to create a wax-up of your future veneers or crowns. This wax-up serves as a blueprint for designing your new smile, allowing us to visualize and plan the changes before proceeding with the actual treatment.

3. Second Consultation and Approval

In your second consultation appointment, we present the wax-up to you. This is your opportunity to review and approve the shape and shade of your future crowns or veneers. Your feedback is essential to ensure that the final result meets your expectations. Once you approve the design, we schedule a time for the crown preparation.

4. Crown Preparation

Crown preparation is a precise procedure performed under local anesthesia to ensure your comfort. Depending on the number of crowns or veneers required, the procedure may take a few hours. During this step, we remove less than 1mm of your existing tooth structure to make room for the new crowns or veneers.

We then take a digital impression of your prepared teeth. This impression is sent directly from our computer to the lab, where your custom crowns or veneers will be crafted with high precision.

5. Temporary Crowns or Veneers

While your final crowns or veneers are being made, we create temporary restorations based on the wax-up. These temporary crowns or veneers allow you to see and experience how your new smile will look and feel. They provide a preview of your future smile and help you adjust to the changes.

6. Final Restoration

After approximately two weeks, when your final crowns or veneers are ready, we will remove the temporary restorations and replace them with the permanent ones. We carefully place and adjust each crown or veneer to ensure a perfect fit and a natural appearance.
